The Grajewo wind farm is located in Podlaskie Voivodeship, grajewski county, and Grajewo commune. It consists of seven wind turbines situated near the villages of Popowo, Boczki-Świdrowo, Wierzbowo and Wojewodzin.

The wind farm is 50% owned by the Taaleri SolarWind II fund, managed by Taaleri Energia, a Finnish-based wind, solar and battery energy storage developer and fund manager and 50% owned by Masdar one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies.

Both social context and environmental issues were considered when planning the locations for the turbines. Several analyses and research had been carried out to ensure compliance with the noise standards and that the impact on the natural environment is minimized. The wind farm has been placed outside any protected areas or particularly valuable landscapes. The turbines location was determined with best available practices criteria and meets all legal requirements necessary.

In this Project 2.0 MW Vestas turbines are used and the total power of the Grajewo wind farm is 14 MW. Each turbine will be 180 metres high with a rotor diameter at 110 metres.

The construction works on the wind farm commenced on H1 2020. The wind farm has been fully operational since Q4 2021.
